Get started with 4D for Android – Nhat Do

4D for Mobile has added a veritable new path for application developers to publish their content and functionality for direct access from iOS and Android devices. With the list of available out-of-the-box features growing longer every day, now is a great time to take a look at what kind of flexible native apps can be generated from your 4D development environment with one click.

Nhat Do will walk us through how to build mobile applications specifically tailored for Android users. With a rich set of features, 4D for Android allows developers to extend their current 4D application to the Android platform or to create an Android application from scratch. Either way, 4D for Android makes it easy and quick to develop an Android app through 4D, without the need to learn how to develop in Android Studio.

This demo will focus on how to build a brand-new Android application by implementing some of the best features available in 4D for Android, such as computed attributes and custom data formatters. These features give developers great control over how data is presented in the mobile application.
